چکیده
Vestibular migraine is an under-diagnosed but increasingly recognised neurological condition that causes episodic vertigo, associated with migrainous features. Making a diagnosis of VM relies on clinical history, including the presence recurrent episodes vertigo or dizziness, background headaches, and features accompany vestibular symptoms. It most common cause spontaneous (non-positional) affecting up to 1% population, remains outside specialist centres, partly due absence diagnostic biomarkers. Its pathophysiology poorly understood, there paucity high-quality treatment trials. Here we review migraine, highlight current theories account for symptoms, outline guidelines.
